YRBS Trend Data
CHKS and YRBS Survey Results
provide information on the prevalence of behaviors practiced by young people that put their health at risk. Both surveys include content on unhealthy dietary behaviors and physical inactivity. Data results give information on overall district trends and are used in program planning and professional development. Both the YRBS and CHKS were administered in 2010-2011; results from these and past surveys are summarized to the right.
The San Francisco Unified School District, in cooperation with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the California Department of Education, administers the YRBS in grades 6-12, and the CHKS in grades 5, 7, 9 and 11.
