ExCEL After School Programs Receives Award

Restorative Justice/Alternatives to Suspension

This past October the SFUSD Board of Education passed Resolution 96-23A1 – In Support of a Comprehensive School Climate, Restorative Justice and Alternatives to Suspension/Expulsion. Alliance for a Healthier Generation Grant

Community Partners - Expand your summer programs!

In order to provide a range of high quality summer activities, ExCEL After School Programs is seeking proposals from Community Partners with existing afterschool or summer programs to build on their current capacity. ExCEL funds would be used to augment programming and/or to add slots to existing programs. View/download the complete RFP. Deadline for submission of proposals is 5pm, April 16, 2010.

Prop A

These documents include helpful information and recommendations for how Prop A hours can be used and who is authorized to sign and/or approve Prop A hours. Please review carefully the Prop A Funding Guidelines (doc) and Procedures for Student Support Services certificated and classified, itinerant staff and central office, staff(doc). Ensure that your site administrator for itinerant staff, or the SSSD manager for central office staff, have pre-approved the PD, and the PD provider has signed the Passport (doc) with date and time, number of hours under PD Type, and provided a short description.

Deadline is April 10, 2010. Payments will be processed once employee turns in the Passport to payroll support staff. Final deadline to turn in Passport for certificated staff is with the timesheet due on May 20 or classified timesheet for May 12 – May 25. (Passport may be turned in earlier if ALL hours are completed.)
